Who We Are
Our Peniel Brethren Church was started on 20th of August 1995 in a School building called St. Amos Education Society in V.giri Mysore. Many Brethren church elders attended the opening ceremony/dedication of our new church. Bro. Matthew elder from Malavalli delivered the message from the bible. Bro. Paulraj elder brethren church Kamagere, Bro. Tejpaul elder from Bethel Assembly, Mysore and many other elders attended the dedication ceremony. In the beginning Bro. S. Rajanna and Bro. Aaron were identified as elders. Bro. Shivanna, Bro. Sathish, Bro. Doreraj and Bro. Manoprakash were identified as decons of the church.
In the beginning forty members used to assemble for Holy Communion. In 1997 we purchased 60x40 a private revenue site at Sathyanagar Udayagiri Mysore for constructing a prayer hall. In 1999 we built a prayer hall measuring 30x40 by the prayerful support of many brethren saints and the hall was dedicated by Bro. Stanley V. Kumar elder Wilson Garden B’lore for the spiritual activities. In 2001 we purchased a site measuring 36x60 and now the total measurement of our church site is 76x60. Our Church Trust was officially registered in the year 2009, in the name of Peniel Brethren Church Trust(R).
The President was K.V.Solomon Elder, Secretary was Elder S Rajanna and the treasurer was Elder Aaron. Trustees were Elder J Sathish and ManoPrakash. After the death of President Bro. K.V.Solomon, Bro. J Sathish was chosen as the President and three more people were chosen as Trustees. Reconstituted trust was re-registered in the year 2011. Our Vision
Glorification of our lord Jesus Christ
To teach the believers ,that they know how they should conduct themselves in the house of god(1 timothy 3:15-“that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of god”)
To reach the unreached in the district of Mysore (Mathew 28:18-20 –Jesus said unto them, “go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you”.)
To encourage youths to serve the lord by conducing youth camps & conferences in the assembly.
To stand unitedly (psalms 133:1-“behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”)And to pray for all the people of the earth and their salvation.
House of god, which is the church of the living god, the pillar and ground of the truth-1thi 3:15
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of god-eph 3:10
